Gain a brain
Of course, since we’re now officially in year 12, most of us are desperately anxious about whether we are intelligent enough to achieve the results that we want. As always, Ky has come to your rescue by coming up with a few quick-fix solutions to gain yourself a brian.
1) “I eat smarties, in hope that it would make me smarter.”
Was what my perspicacious friend Fiona said.
I think that this methodology works only for her, as I have tried to emulate her, and the only thing I’ve ended up gaining is a few kilos.
2) Read extensively.
Not that Ky is suggesting that you go out and buy the latest porn magazine. But hey, if it improves your vocabulary, why not? Please note that www.amiable-thoughts.blogspot.com does not bear any responsibility if you get into trouble with your teachers for using porn for “related material”
3) Buy all the guide books you can get.
And just plagiarise. Wait did I say that? I meant, copy word for word. You’re sure to get 100% in assessment tasks. I guarentee that you will not get caught. I’ll even bet on Marie’s house.
4) “Move to the Blacktown area, hang with the locals. It makes you appear smarter”
The ingenious Fiona also came up with this idea, and I think that most of us will be unequivocal with our agreement with this notion. I would also like to add that Fiona is not by any means, being discriminatory as she is an unwavering inhabitant of the western suburbs, and is multitudinously proud of her postal code.
Note: This also works when you’re standing next to the principal of our school, which name shall not be stated, or I will get into trouble for defamation (It happened to a girl from our school once before). Standing next to him/her will also make you look profusely slimmer.
Well, I think that’s enough to help all you HSC hopefulls . Just follow the steps and you’ll have begun to embark on the journey to success …
